I combine machine-learning depth with delivery leadership.

My doctorate at Aalto University focused on probabilistic machine learning: how to learn from limited, uncertain, and human-provided information. During that period, I was an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon and conducted doctoral research at Novartis. Papers and code are listed under writing and research.

At the Finnish Environment Institute, I worked on machine learning and data quality for environmental monitoring, then led a ten-person multidisciplinary team. Earlier, I co-founded a machine-learning consultancy and worked on e-commerce and logistics projects.

I now work as a Senior Data Scientist at Vuono Group. I treat the operating process as part of the technical system. A model creates value only when its output reaches the right person, supports a clear decision, and changes what happens next.
